The Moon is Older than We Thought, says New Study For decades, scientists have been of the belief that the Moon, Earth’s only natural satellite, was four and a half billion years old. Land On Titan With Huygens in Beautiful New Video On December 25, 2004, the piggybacking Huygens probe was released from the ‘mothership’ Cassini spacecraft and it arrived at Titan on January 14, 2005.
