We are a Friendly group of people with a common interest in Stars. Planets and other celestial bodies. Most of all we like sharing our knowledge with fellow Amateur Astronomers, skill levels vary from absolute beginner to seasoned Amateur. Everyone is encouraged to participate in talks about their chosen field in interest.
We would strongly encourage people to come along to the society, regardless of equipment level where the group can assist in getting the most out of what you have, or advise on what equipment may suit your interest / needs. The society has several telescopes & mounts that on request may be loaned to paid up members. This will enable you to experience the benefits and restrictions of different telescopes.
